Posture setting is one of the most important aspects of meditation.
If you are not comfortable, you will not be able to sink down in to a deep mental relaxation. In order to meditate you must feel grounded in your seat, elongate and align your spine and feel that the position your in is sustainable for minutes at a time.

Remember, meditation is a practice. So is sitting. It takes time and effort and dedication to achieve a meditative state. Patience is part of the process. Be gentle with yourself, take your time and enjoy your own journey into mindfulness!
