Lauren Rudick yoga handstandLauren Rudick’s love of yoga has taken her around the world. She has studied, taught and practiced yoga across 6 continents and over a dozen countries. Lauren’s appetite for yoga and travel are insatiable. She has been teaching and practicing yoga for a decade and continues to train with world-class and inspiring teachers whenever she can.

Lauren’s dynamic and upbeat classes are infused with humor, positivity and joy helping her students build confidence on and off the mat. Hailing from Montreal, She has found a unique niche in the Canadian market, teaching “Yoga for Hockey Players” designed to help improve strength and flexibility in areas often problematic for athletes.

Lauren is currently based out of Montreal, Canada but continues to give classes internationally at retreats, conferences and festivals including Wanderlust Festival, Burlington Yoga Conference, and Sedona Yoga Festival. She has been featured on Yoga Now TV  in Optimyz magazine and gives online yoga classes at Lauren is proud and honored to act as an ambassador for Freewaters Footwear, a shoe company with a conscience. Together they are helping to bring awareness to the global water crisis and support clean water initiatives worldwide.

Avigna Yoga with Lauren Rudick


Avigna (Avighna) is one of the names of Hindu elephant-headed deity Ganesh, the destroyer of obstacles. Lauren’s joyful and lighthearted approach to yoga helps her face challenges, move through them and feel connected, grounded, and happy within. Through her classes and workshops she hopes to pass on the contentment and exuberance that she experiences every day as she destroys the obstacles in her life with the aid of her yoga practice.
